This is Frank Marafiote, Director of ISTC and a student tutor and coach.

I set aside a few times per month to offer introductory sessions at no charge.

During the complimentary session:

... We can discuss the areas in college where you would like to improve and the specific course or courses for which you are seeking help.

... We can explore any challenges that you are facing as an international student and identify how to remove obstacles that are in your way.

... We can discuss the tutoring process, how it works here at ISTC, and some of your options for being tutored.

Or we can just talk about your situation and I can answer your questions about your next steps and how tutoring might fit in.

You can expect a 40-45 minute sample session using our online meeting software to leave you with a clear understanding of the tutoring process and some extra motivation to move forward.
